Presence

This project began with a collaboration with Medium Plenty on some floating shelves and a countertop in salvaged cypress and powdercoated steel. Medium Plenty came up with a creative concept for steel compression brackets and asked for a recommendation for a light-colored local wood species that would warm up the existing concrete columns. The finished products, all in Monterrey Cypress, effectively adds both warmth and functionality and turns the columns into a more interactive element of the space.

Presence then hired us to design custom work-tops to compliment a standing desk product they found and liked. We provided several options for locally salvaged hardwood for the tops. Presence chose madrone, bay laurel, and osage orange and we made (3) separate runs in these (3) species for a total of (24) new work-tops.
