Commission to design and build a functional solid wood sliding partition that closes off the upstairs addition from the mainfloor and displays like a painting.
The water-tank stock that went into this sliding partition was selected for it's streaking and resawn in half to open up the wild, streaked palette of this material.
Materials: Reclaimed coastal redwood (water-tank staves), white oak (frame), and maple (bottom panel).
