A collaboration with one of our favorite designers and architects, Alex Gregor (Currently Out-There-In-Here; then with BCJ), Tomlinson Woodworks helped fabricated these free-standing furniture pieces in solid Douglas fir throughout.
The bookcases provide a warm presence and open and closed storage on either side of the well-preserved, original fireplace. The shelves are fixed and spaced generously enough to allow for all sorts of curation options.
The long, deep benches employ solid, traditional joinery and the tapered legs land them lightly in the room.
