We were honored to be one of several talented craftspeople/companies to work on this remodel of a midcentury home for one of the Bay Area's most important craftsman.
Built in full-sawn vertical-grain doug-fir, this buffet contributes warmth, storage, and crisp lines in an area where Medium Plenty opened up and removed existing walls to gain light and visual interest.
The buffet top and dining room drawer fronts are vertical grain doug-fir. The drawer front material was resawn from a single full-sawn plank and laid out as a slip-matched set. On the entry side of the buffet, an vintage, oak flat-file was modified and built into the casework.
